Product Manager

That's me!

Over the past 1 year, I've managed 3 products at Terragon - Africa’s leading data and marketing technology company that have intelligently reached over 350 million profiles in Africa directly on mobile, online and offline. I love creating experiences that delight users and help businesses grow.

Aside work, I blog! I try to simplify product management terminologies, and make it pretty easy for anyone to understand some basics in product management, irrespective of the career path they are transitioning from.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

About your product management journey?

I studied Microbiology at the University, but now I manage digital products at a tech company. Lol! Check out my blog, you would find my story on how I transitioned into product management 🤗.

What is the typical timeline for a project?

To establish a timeline for a project, it is important to first define the scope and objectives of the project, as well as any constraints or limitations that may affect the timeline.

What metrics do you use to measure success?

I measure success in a number of ways, including:

- Customer satisfaction: Are customers happy with the product? Do they find it useful and easy to use?

- Market adoption: Is the product gaining traction in the market? Are sales increasing over time?

- Revenue and profitability: Is the product contributing to the company's bottom line? Are profits increasing as a result of the product's success?

- User engagement: Are users actively using the product? Do they return to the product frequently?

- Product-market fit: Does the product solve a real problem for a specific group of customers?

- Product innovation: Is the product introducing new features or capabilities that set it apart from competitors?

Ultimately, success will largely depend on the goals and objectives of the company and the product itself. It's important to regularly track and measure key metrics to gauge the success of the product and make adjustments as needed.
